The Chaplaincy Program originated at Unity of Phoenix and is now a part of many Unity churches. Members at Unity of Chattanooga receive a wellness prayer call from their Prayer Chaplains each month. There is also a Prayer Chaplain available for personal prayer after the 11:00 service every Sunday.

What is a Unity Prayer Chaplain?
A Prayer Chaplain will create and hold a spiritual space for you.
A Prayer Chaplain will listen with empathy.
A Prayer Chaplain maintains confidentiality.
A Prayer Chaplain will pray with those requesting prayer.

The Unity movement was founded on prayer over 100 years ago. The Chaplaincy Prayer Program supports the well-being of our congregants and is also a time of personal spiritual growth for chaplains as well.

The opportunity to train and serve as a Prayer Chaplain is open to every member of Unity of Chattanooga and it involves a commitment to serve for one year. Talk to Penny Steele or Doug if you would like to deepen your own spiritual growth in this way
