Here's what's happening at Unity of Chattanooga:

REV LORA BETH GILBREATH - GUEST SPEAKER ON DEC. 7TH
The second week of Advent is peace, which can seem like a distant ideal in a world marked by turmoil, uncertainty, and conflict. “Let there be…” is the talk title for Rev Lora Beth on Sunday 12/7 at 10:30. it's time to reflect on how to be peacemakers in the world by acting with love, forgiveness, and understanding. Just as peace was top on the priority list for Jesus 2000 years ago, it's time to reflect on how to be peacemakers in the world by acting with love, forgiveness, and understanding.

JOHN STRINGER - GUEST SPEAKER ON DEC. 14TH
John joins us for the third week of Advent which is JOY! It signals a shift from reflection to joyful anticipation as Christmas approaches. It is not just the simple happiness of basic pleasures but a profound gladness rooted in faith and higher forms of fulfillment. True joy is the internal sense of contentment and gladness that is independent of outer circumstances. It is a deep, resilient gladness rooted in the faith of God's promises.

MONTHLY DRUMMING CIRCLE

Drumming circles are a way for people from a community to gather and create a group consciousness of unity and harmony, and to get in tune with each other. They meet again on Saturday, December 6th. Heath Luallen will lead everyone in a drumming circle. Bring your own drum and instruments if you have one. 6 to 7:30 pm.
WELLNESS WARRIORS
Cancer survivor Eric Miller heads up a positive, practical, support group for people who are dealing with health issues. This group will be meeting on Thursdays at noon on Dec 4th and 18th. Share your challenges and share your victories as well as set positive health intentions for ourselves. This group was created to empower each other on our journeys to living a healthier life. Instead of being a wellness worrier, let's all become wellness warriors!
UNITY COMMUNITY DISCUSSION GROUP
Because it is different for everyone, we will be discussing issues of self-worth by first defining what 'worthiness' and 'unworthiness' means to everyone in attendance. We will then explore worthiness in terms of our own personal self-image, our jobs, our relationships and most importantly, our dreams and ambitions. This is a confidential opportunity to dig into and ultimately empower and enrich our self-confidence. Don't miss this opportunity to hear yourself talk about yourself!
POWER OF EIGHT GROUP
Meets on the 1st Sunday of each month which is December 7th at 12:15 in our downstairs meditation room following fellowship. All are welcome.

NEW DAYTIME SPIRIT CONNECTION GROUP MEETING ON TUESDAYS
We are taking a break for the upcoming holidays, but we will be back on Tuesday mornings starting on January 20, 2026 for this 8-week daytime class that meets at 10:45 AM. Our book selection will be Sermon on the Mount by Emmet Fox.
These Spirit Groups are a cohesive, strategic program that is designed to inspire our spiritual community. Groups can meet once a week for 6-10 weeks to experience healthy, spiritually balanced on the principles called “The Five C’s”, which are:
Communion: SpiritGroup members grow through personal reflection, prayer and/or meditation time. Members begin each meeting with prayer or meditation and group members volunteer to take on the role of a prayer leader for the group.
Connection: SpiritGroup members cultivate fun and fulfilling relationships with each other. Group gatherings contribute to the development of meaningful relationships.
Compassion: All members of the group proactively seek to support and care for each other in times of joy and times of challenges.
Community: SpiritGroups enrich the community by choosing to serve together in ways that benefit the local, regional, and/or global community by participating in one community service project together.
Challenge: SpiritGroup members proactively apply what they are learning through their group gatherings. They encourage each other in their spiritual growth and provide non-judgmental support to help each other progress toward their intentions for spiritual growth.
