Celebration Service with Octavia Farabow

Octavia will present "Fire and Bloomstone"

What if we treated anger as sacred as we do joy? Octavia will explore the transformational potential of anger: not as something to fix or fear, but as a holy companion in our spiritual lives. Through storytelling, reflection, and reimagining, Octavia Farabow invites us to consider the emotions we’re often told to quiet. What if our righteous rage is a signal of deep love, and our discomfort is a doorway to sacred change? Together, we’ll honor the weight of truth, and make space for a peace that doesn’t require our silence.

Octavia Farabow is a lifelong student of Unity, a former YOUer, a mother, writer, speaker, and student in Unity’s ministerial program. With a passion for sacred disruption, Appalachian storytelling, and spiritual evolution, her work lives at the intersection of Christianity, mysticism, deconstruction, motherhood, and doubt. She brings a justice-centered lens to all she does, grounded in activism, compassionate skepticism, and a deep respect for evolving belief. Her sermons invite radical honesty, deep listening, and unexpected peace.
